Direct Admission Program to Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK School of Law

Eligibility requirements

  • Complete or be on track to complete all requirements for a Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK bachelor's degree before matriculating at Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK;
  • Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in courses taken at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and on all transferred courses (transferred courses means undergraduate- or graduate-level credits earned at an institution other than Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK which Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK has accepted as degree credits);
  • Earn a minimum score on the LSAT at or above the 50th percentile of the most recent class to matriculate at Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK;
  • for admission into the full-time, part-time, or Blended Learning J.D. program between October 1 and May 1 in the academic year before the student intends to begin J.D. study;
  • and Meet Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK's Character and Fitness requirements, as amended, and comply with Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK's general admissions policies and requirements.

Alternatively, a student who does not meet either the LSAT or GPA requirement, but who meets all other eligibility requirements, may be admitted subject to Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK's review of their overall application.

Scholarships

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students and alumni admitted through the DAP are also guaranteed a scholarship from Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK equal to fifty (50) percent of Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s tuition for the then-current academic year. The scholarship is renewable each year the student is enrolled at Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and remains in good standing.

NOTE: The availability of the DAP depends on a Memorandum of Understanding between Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and Mitchell Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK, which is subject to expiration or cancellation. Interested students should confirm that the DAP is currently available.
