Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Presidential Search
A message from the Search Committee Chair
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Presidential search process for Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK.
Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK is Minnesota’s first university, founded in 1854. Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK has a long history of promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. The university’s first two graduates were women and it has been in the national forefront of promoting equity and diversity efforts ever since.
Today the university’s College of Liberal Arts, School of Education and Leadership, and School of Business offer more than 100 undergraduate program areas (majors, minors, concentrations, and certificates), 12 master’s degrees and two doctorate degrees. At Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK, high-impact learning isn’t just a phrase, it’s a commitment. All Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students participate in internships, field-based or collaborative research, apprentice teaching, and/or service learning.
While Dr. Kathleen Murray is ably serving as Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s acting/interim president, the process for finding her successor is now underway. The Board of Trustees has formed a Presidential Search Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee and has retained the services of Academic Search to assist us.
Thank you again for your interest in Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and its Presidential search process.
