• Furnishings

  Room furnishings include a desk, desk chair, window coverings, bed, bookcase, MicroFridge unit and closet space for each student. In some configurations, some of these items may be shared between roommates. The furniture in the rooms are arranged in a standard setup with bunked beds. You will need to provide your own pillow, blanket, linens, desk lamp, and wastebasket. Furniture placed in lounges and public areas is for the use of all residents and students are asked not to move lounge furniture. There will be a penalty to any student who is found with lounge furniture in their rooms. Furniture may not be moved from student rooms, and built-in furniture may not be dismantled or moved. 

• Manor Residence Hall Staff

  The Resident Assistants (RA), Area Coordinators (AC) or Student Area Coordinators (SAC) are committed to building and maintaining a positive community environment. A Resident Assistant lives on each floor and Pro-staff members live in each area. RAs will host a variety of social, educational, recreational, and cultural programs for residents as well as take their residents to campus-wide events, programs, productions & performances throughout the entire academic year. RAs, ACs and SACs also work very hard to plan "All-Hall" programs that bring an entire Residence Hall community together for fun, exciting and robust events. These programs are designed to provide residents the opportunity to mix and mingle with new students, their RA Team and their Pro-Staff Coordinators as well as help foster close friendships and build community in a safe, fun and supportive environment. There are a wide variety of programs available at any given time at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and residents can be as active and engaged as their schedule permits. If anyone is ever struggling to connect or get involved, their RA is always available to lend a helping hand. Go Pipers!

• Manor Hall Council

  Manor Hall Council is a representative group of residential students who support the mission of the Office of Residential Life, take action to improve the students' residential experience and foster community ownership and pride. Hall Council hears the concerns of residents and works to address those concerns by utilizing community resources to plan activities and make capital improvements to the house, promote community respect and accountability, and establish clear and consistent communication among appropriate members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK residential community. As a result, Manor Hall Council empowers residents to stay informed about and invested in the development of their community, while offering leadership opportunity for students.
