• Furnishings

  Room furnishings include a desk, desk chair, window coverings, bed, dresser, and wardrobe for each student. One MicroFridge unit is provided for each room. The standard room set up includes bunked beds. Mattresses are extra-long twin  and measure 36" by 80". Room styles in the Heights include double, quad, and a small number of single rooms. You will need to provide your own pillow, blanket, linens, desk lamp, and wastebasket. Furniture placed in lounges and public areas is for the use of all residents. In order to be fair to all, you are asked not to move lounge furniture. There will be a penalty to any student who is found with lounge furniture in their room. Please note: Furniture may not be moved from student rooms, and built-in furniture may not be dismantled or moved. Even if a student is occupying a double room alone, furnishings for a second student may not be moved from the room.

• Heights Residence Hall Staff

  The Resident Assistants (RA), Area Coordinators (AC) or Student Area Coordinators (SAC) are committed to building and maintaining a positive community environment. A Resident Assistant lives on each floor and Pro-staff members live in each area. RAs will host a variety of social, educational, recreational, and cultural programs for residents as well as take their residents to campus-wide events, programs, productions & performances throughout the entire academic year. RAs, ACs and SACs also work very hard to plan "All-Hall" programs that bring an entire Residence Hall community together for fun, exciting and robust events. These programs are designed to provide residents the opportunity to mix and mingle with new students, their RA Team and their Pro-Staff Coordinators as well as help foster close friendships and build community in a safe, fun and supportive environment. There are a wide variety of programs available at any given time at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and residents can be as active and engaged as their schedule permits. If anyone is ever struggling to connect or get involved, their RA is always available to lend a helping hand. Go Pipers!
