Day at the Capitol Annual Event

The State Grant Program is a critical piece of many Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students' higher education funding and represents more than two million dollars in total aid to Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students. The Day at the Capitol event each spring is an opportunity for Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students to participate in the legislative process by encouraging state legislators to support the State Grant Program.

Students attending the Day at the Capitol event will have the opportunity to:

  • Add a personal story to their resumes and develop themselves professionally
  • Learn firsthand how the legislative process works
  • Support fellow Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students who rely upon the State Grant Program to fund their Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK education
  • Expand their networks by connecting with Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK alumni who work at the Capitol

The State Grant Program supports Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students and is Minnesota's largest financial aid program, providing financial aid for almost 100,000 Minnesota college students. Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students play an important role in urging legislators to support the State Grant Program for Minnesota college students during a difficult economic time.
