Giddens Learning Center
Virtual campus tour
History inside a modern building
The main arches of the former Carnegie Library, a historical marker, greet visitors to the Giddens Learning Center. The learning center houses classrooms, study areas, a large auditorium, an art gallery, and lounge space.
Undergraduate students spend countless hours in this building, the home base of many academic departments in the College of Liberal Arts, such as anthropology, English, Spanish, Chinese studies, legal studies, philosophy, religion, psychology, education, and social justice and social change. The Giddens/Alumni Learning Center also is a good place to track down professors in these departments. Stop by during their office hours to get help with class assignments, career search, or extracurricular pursuits.
