Direct Admission Program and scholarship
Through an advantageous partnership between Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK and , the Direct Admission Program (DAP)* enables qualified Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK students and alumni to be admitted to Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK as a law student in the Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK J.D. program with a scholarship.
Direct Admission to Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK eligibility requirements
- Complete or be on track to complete all requirements for a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK bachelor's degree before matriculating at Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in courses taken at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK and on all transferred courses (transferred courses means undergraduate- or graduate-level credits earned at an institution other than Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK which Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK has accepted as degree credits)
- Earn a minimum score on the LSAT at or above the 50th percentile of the most recent class to matriculate at Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK
- for admission into the full-time, part-time, or Blended Learning J.D. program between October 1 and May 1 in the academic year before the student intends to begin J.D. study
- Meet Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK's Character and Fitness requirements, as amended, and comply with Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK's general admissions policies and requirements
Alternatively, a student who does not meet either the LSAT or GPA requirement, but who meets all other eligibility requirements, may be admitted subject to Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK's review of their overall application.
Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK School of Law scholarships
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK students and alumni admitted through the DAP are also guaranteed a scholarship from Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK equal to fifty (50) percent of Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK’s tuition for the then-current academic year. The scholarship is renewable each year the student is enrolled at Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK and remains in good standing.
*NOTE: The availability of the DAP depends on a Memorandum of Understanding between Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK and Mitchell Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPK, which is subject to expiration or cancellation. Interested students should confirm that the DAP is currently available.
