Behavioral Economics Concentration

Interdisciplinary concentration

Enhance your economics or psychology degree with a concentration in behavioral economics

Behavioral economics helps researchers understand the complex factors that contribute to human decision-making. This rising field combines knowledge and methodology from economics, psychology, and neuroscience to create a more complete view of human behavior.

As a growing number of employers apply behavioral economics to inform their policies and practices, behavioral economics experts are in high demand across fields such as health care, education, personal finance, advertising, and public policy.

In Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK's interdisciplinary concentration in behavioral economics, you'll learn theories and methods in economics and psychology and apply them to field and laboratory experiments. Each student also designs a research project that explores an area of judgment and behavior tailored to their interests and goals. Students can pair this concentration with a BA in psychology or economics.

The behavioral economics concentration is open to students majoring in economics or psychology.
