Acting/Interim President Kathleen Murray has announced that Juneteenth, a national holiday which commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States, will be henceforth recognized as a Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK holiday.
Juneteenth is observed annually on June 19. This will add an additional day to the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK holiday schedule as paid leave for staff. Offices providing essential services will remain open on that day.
