Oriana Gatta works as an academic advisor in Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s Center for Academic Success and Achievement (CASA). As a lifelong learner and long-time educator, Oriana approaches advising with the perspective that we all have something to learn from and teach each other. She has also found that success is more achievable and more meaningful when it’s a collaborative effort.
Before coming to Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK, Oriana served as a faculty member, major advisor, graduate student mentor, and internship coordinator in the English Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition and an M.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, along with a B.A. in English and Psychology from Lakeland University, a small liberal arts school in Wisconsin.
