John-Mark Schlink received his MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and BA from Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK. He teaches Printmaking and Drawing in conjunction with a professional career as a printmaker. His prints have been exhibited in national and international exhibitions including most recently in Edging Forward: New Prints 2018/Winter at the International Print Center in New York and the Formation International Print Exhibition at the China Printing Museum in China. He was an Artist-in-Residence at the Print Association Bentlage in Germany and also at Constellations Studios in Nebraska. His prints are represented in museum and research collections including the China Printing Museum, the Museum of Texas Tech University and the Pacific Rim International Print Collection in New Zealand. Schlink has had his work published in numerous catalogs and journals including Art in Print and Creative Quarterly.

Professor Schlink encourages a holistic approach to Printmaking through intaglio and relief techniques integrated with conceptual rigor. Students practice traditional and contemporary techniques through organized assignments while exploring self-directed projects that incorporate cross-disciplinary study. Professor Schlink emphasizes a collaborative student community in which mutual respect and all creative perspectives are welcome.
